چکیده
A doença valvar perfaz importante causa de morbidade cardiovascular. O envelhecimento populacional associado a maior número trocas valvares com uso bioprótese, considerando durabilidade destas, determinou um aumento pacientes candidatos reintervenção por degeneração valvar. Esses pacientes, recentemente, passaram ter o implante percutâneo válvula aórtica como alternativa à cirurgia em condições alto risco cirúrgico. Descreve-se, neste cenário, papel do transcateter prótese biológica degenerada, aspectos relacionados indicação e resultados procedimento.
